Challenge and Inspiration

The initial design for the media room incorporated features that took into account future projects, including a kitchen remodel recently completed.

The family wanted a space to read and watch movies. Our challenge was to incorporate all the functionality needed ( projector, sound system ) into a warm, comfortable space.
Design Build Solution

There are many custom features that add character to this room, including some you don’t see!

Custom book shelves hide a secret room, their son’s play room, and look aesthetically beautiful when closed. A walnut soffit hides book shelf hardware.

Sound quality was also very important, the solution was adding special insulation and sheetrock in the remodel.
