This was a very small galley kitchen closed off from the rest of the house, so in addition to opening up one end to dining room we did a little bump out under an existing covered porch – 18″ made a big difference to this more room.

In galley kitchens there is a fine line to wear there’s too little and too much space, both making the area inefficient.
